BOTOX - WRINKLE REMOVAL Botox isn't a new "miracle" cream we want you to try, or a wonder exfoliator. Botox is a natural substance that is FDA approved as a treatment for wrinkle removal. Considered a safe procedure for over a decade, Botox is most commonly used to treat the crow's feet, or angled lines found on either side of the eyes, the vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows, and the horizontal wrinkles found in the forehead. A Botox treatment involves the injection of moderate amounts of Botox into the muscle that has control of the wrinkle. This dose of Botox relaxes the muscle, which smooths out the wrinkle. Patients can drive on their own after the treatment and continue their regular schedule. Botox effects won't be apparent immediately, but take several days to develop. Patients usually are able to enjoy the effects, then, for about 3-6 months.
